Creation of modern infrastructure for visits into the Zone as well as for work of personnel there.

With each passing year, trips to the Zone are becoming increasingly interesting, especially to foreigners. In 2016, over 36 thousand people came there—twice as much as in 2015. Although officially tourism is prohibited in the Zone, people with proper permits from authorized agencies are still allowed.

The infrastructure of the Zone is insufficiently developed though. Presently, there are two canteens in the city of Chernobyl and at the Chornobyl NPP, a hotel for 40 people and a café. Involvement of the companies able to establish living conditions in the Zone is still welcome.

Improvement of the Zone's infrastructure will not only boost the number of visitors and meet their needs but also meet the need in a modern life support system the people working here and the few remaining residents have.
